A tetrahybrid plant produces fruits of 1 kg while minimum weight is 400 g. What will be the maximum weight of a fruit :- (1) 600 g (2) 1600 g (3) 1200 g (4) 1800 g

4recessive+4dominant=1000g ........1
*Minimum weight is for the plant which have all recessive means aabbccdd
8recessive=400g
1r=50g........2
*putting value of equation 2 in 1
4×50+4dominant=1000
1 dominant=200.......3
*For maximum weight all should be dominant I.e.AABBCCDD
Putting value of equation 3
8 dominant=8×200
=1600
