= ₹ 750
SP of 1 metre shirting piece
= ₹ (750 ÷ 40)
= ₹ 18.75
SP of 1 metre
= ₹ 22
Profit
= ₹ (22 – 18.75)
= ₹ 3.25
∴ He makes a profit of ₹ 3.25
