We are saying that the astrologer had a shrewd perception of the human character because , even though he was not well educated in the field of astrology , he knew the exact thing to say , to people to make people believe him . He did this after they finished 10 minutes of talking . He told things , which the customer badly wanted to hear and , the customers getting relieved payed him without even giving his authenticity a second check . He was only able to do this because he was extremely well equipped on people's minds and came to know what they wanted to hear , just after listening to them talk . He was extremely good at fooling people about his authenticity , which is another sign of good human behavioral perception since only people who know someone very well will have with them the power to manipulate them . Hence , we are saying that the astrologer had a good perception of human character .
