Given:

perimeter of square = rectangle of length 15cm and breadth 13 cm

To Find:

area of square

Solution:

4 × l = 2(15 + 13)

l = 2(28)/4

l= 28/2

l = 14 cm

Area of square = side²

= 14²

= 196cm²

 {\fcolorbox{cyan}{pink}{Perimeter\:of\:rectangle=perimeter\:of\:square}}

= 2(length+breadth)=4×side

= 2(15+13)=4×side

= 2×28=4×side

= 56=4×side

= 56÷4= side of square

= side of square = 14 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

 {\fcolorbox{maroon}{yellow}{Area\:of\:square}}
