A) Soil B should be treated with powdered chalk as it has low Ph value which means it is acidic.

B)The aquatic animals(like fish) can survive within a narrow range of pH range. When the pH of rain water is nearly 5.6, it is known acid rain. When acid rain falls on these water bodies, it lowers down the pH of water to a great extent and as a result, the water becomes acidic that the survival of aquatic animals becomes difficult. This high acidity of water can endanger the live of aquatic animals. To prevent the fish from being killed calcium carbonate is often added to water which neutralizes the acid that came from acid rain.
