Anewer:

a) circumference = 2πr = 2(3.14)(3.5) = 21.98cm area = πr² = 2850cm²

b) given figure is semicircle

d=14cm,r=7cm

perimeter = πr+d = 22/7(7)+14 =22+14=36cm

Answer:

GIVEN :

radius= 3.5 cm

so circumference of the circle 2πr

2×22/7×3.5

= 22 cm

area of circle is πr^2

22/7×3.5×3.5×

38.5 cm^2

answer of (a) circumference is 22 cm and area is 38.5 cm.

(b)

GIVEN:

diameter = 14cm

so radius will be 14/2 that is 7 cm

circumference is also known as perimeter

so by the formula 2πr

2×22/7 ×7

=44 cm is the correct answer of question no. (b)
