nichrome wire is 6 ohm If we reduce
the length of the wire to 70 cm.
what will its resistance be?

See, we know that the resistance of a material is dependent on its length...

So we can say length of wire is directly proportional to the resistance of wire

Therefore ,

If 100cm corresponds to 6 ohm

So 70 cm will correspond to

6 × 70/100

= 6×0.7

= 4.2 ohm
