 It \: is \: given \: that,

 A \: theatre \:can \:hold \: 140 \:gaints\: or

 210 \: elves

/* According to the problem given */

 If \: 90 \: gaints\: are \: already \: inside

 Let \: number \: of \: elves \: admitted = x

 \implies 140 : 210 = 90 : x

 product \:of \: extremes = product \:of \:means

 \implies 140 \times x = 210 \times 90

 \implies  x = \frac{210 \times 90}{140}

 \implies  x = 3 \times 45

 \implies  x = 135

Therefore.,

 \red{number \: of \: elves \: admitted }\green { = 135}
