Initially, the thief runs away at 60 km/h.
So at 2 pm, he will have travelled 60*1/2 hours=30 km. (For half an hour)
So let x be the no of hours taken after 2 pm.
Therefore thief: 60x+30
Owner: 75x
Thus 60x+30=75x( since distance travelled is same)
15x=30
=x=2 hrs.
So 2pm + 2 hrs= 4pm.
Thief is caught at 4 pm.
