  • 1/2Iω² = mgh

1/2× 1/3× ml²ω² = mgh

⟹1/2I²ω² = mgh

⟹ 1/2 × 1/3 mL²ω² = mgh

∴ moment of inertia of rod = mL²/3

⟹ h = L² ω² /6g Answer
