a) Three identical jars A, B, C are painted blue, black and white respectively. All the three filled with same amount of water at room temperature and then placed in sunlight for an hour. Will the water in the three jars be at the same temperature after one hour? Why or why not?
b) In the situation described above arrange the jars in the ascending order of the temperature?

a)No, the temperature will vary as black color absorbs the most heat and reflects very little. Thus, the black pot will be the hottest

The lighter the color the more heat it will reflect

(Thats why we are adviced to wear light colored clothes in summer to have a cooling effect on our body)

b)

from coolest to hottest:

white

then blue

then the hottest pot, black
