(a). Three resistance in parallel of values 2, 4, & 5 ohms. Therefore, resultant resistance R is
1 / R = 1/ 2 + 1/4 + 1/5
1/R = (10 + 5 + 4) / 20
R = 20 / 19 ohms

(b). Emf (V) = 20 v
R = 20 / 19 ohms
Therefore, total current I = V / R
= 20 / (20/19)
= 19 amps
Current through 2 ohms is
= 20 / 2 = 10 amps
Current through 4 ohms
= 20 / 4 = 5 amps
Current through 5 ohms
= 20 / 5 = 4 amps
Therefore, the total current through circuit is 19 Amps and the current through resistance 2, 4 & 5 ohms are 10, 5 & 4amps respectively.
