b) If the combination is connected to a battery of emf 12 V and negligible internal resistance, obtain the potential drop across each resistor.

1+2+3= 6 ohm total resistance

B part = first calculate the current using formula V=IR in this question value of current will be 2 ampere and now we have to calculate potential drop in each resistance so we will use formula v1= I×R1. So value will be 2 ampere × 1ohm = 2v and for second resistor 2ampere × 2 ohm = 4v and for third resistor voltage drop will be 2 ampere × 3 ohm = 6v
