a)Three resistors of resistances 2Ω,3Ω and 4Ω are combined in series. What is the total resistance of the combination?
b)If this combination is connected to a battery of emf 10V and negligible internal resistance, obtain the potential drop across each resistor.
I want answer of b) so please who knows answer of b they only answer this question please don't give unnecessary answers​

Answer:

A} Total R = 9ohms

For B )

First we find total I ,

V = IR

I=V/R

:: I = 10/9 = 1.11 A

As it is. a series connection..... I will be constant everywhere.

Now,

Potential different at 2 ohm resistor,

V=IR

V = 2.22 V

Similarly,

Potential difference at 3ohm resistor ,

V=3.33 V

Potential difference at 4ohm resistor ,

V = 4.44 V
