 \bf \LARGE \it Hey \: User!!!

given the side of the square tile = 1cm

therefore it's area = side²
= 1 × 1
= 1cm²

area of the square tile in dm = 0.01cm²

hence, no. of tiles required to cover the floor of area 960dm² = 960/0.01
= 96000 tiles

96000 tiles are required.

Here is your solution

Given:-

The side of the square tile = 1cm

Area  of square = side²

= 1cm× 1cm

= 1cm²

Area of the square tile in dm = 0.01cm²

Number of tiles required to cover the floor of area 960dm²

= 960/0.01

= 96000 tiles

Hence

96000 tiles are required.
