let l=12cm=0.12m
b=18cm=0.18m
area of a tile =lb
=0.12*0.18
=0.0216m²
we are given that length and breadth of a rectangular path is 2m and 3m
so,
area of a rectangular path =lb
=2*3=6m²
no. of tiles =area of a rectangular path/area of
a tile
=6/0.0216
=277.77
=278tiles
hope this will help u
