ANSWER -

A tile measures 12cm * 8cm (Given)

Area of tiles= 12 cm x 8cm

= 96cm^2

Converting M into CM= 2x100cm

=200cm

3x100 = 300cm

Area if floor= 200cmx300cm

= 60000cm^2

Number of tiles required= 60000 /96

=625 tiles

so, 625 tiles will be needed to pave a rectangular path of sides 2 m x 3 m.

Hope it helps

Answer:

A tile measures 12cm * 8cm

Area of tiles - 12*8cm

Converting M into CM - 2*100cm-200cm

-3*100-300cm

Area if floor- 200*300

- 60000cm*2

Number of tiles required-60000/96

-625 tiles

So, 625 tiles will be needed to pave a rectangular path of sides 2m*3m.
