We have length = 1.5 m

Breadth = 1.25 m

Height = 0.65 m

i)  Since it is open at the top therefore plastic sheet required for making box

= 2( l + b)  *h + lb

= 2( 1.5 + 1.25 ) * 0.65 + 1.5 * 1.25

= 2 * 2.75 * 0.65+ 1.875

= (3.575 + 1.875 )m2 =  5.45 m2

hope it help you

L = 1.5 m
B = 1.25 m
H = 65 cm = 0.65 m
Surface area of box = lateral surface area of cuboid + base area = 2h ( L + b) + Lb = 2 * 0.65 ( 1.5 + 1.25 ) + 1.5 *1.25

= 1.30 (2.75 )+ 1.875
=3.5750 + 1.875
== 5.45 m sq

shubhamraj6: it is wrong answer
shubhamraj6: answer is 24.5 sq.m
