Answer:

The tin can will implode i.e. it will squeeze because the water vapour inside the can contracts and converts into liquid water when the can is submerged in a tub of cold water. Thus, creating partial vacuum.

A tin can containing some water is heated till the water comes to boil and after 30s it is

removed from the heat and submerged immediately in a tub containing cold water, we have to explain what will happen then.

When the hot tin-can is submerged into cold water, the vapor condenses quickly, and create a partial vacuum in the tin-can. It makes a large difference of pressure between the outside and inside, this air pressure leads to a large net inward force on the tin-can, as a result the tin- can immediately get crushed.
