Given :

A tin contains 24 liters of milks. Due to lakege, 720 ml is lost.

To Find :

What percent of milk is still present in the tin

Solution:

Amount of milk in tin = 24 liters

1 liter = 1000 ml

24 liters = 24000 ml

So, amount of milk in tin = 24000 ml

Amount of milk lost due to leakage = 720 ml

So, Amount of milk left = 24000- 720 = 23280 ml

Percentage of milk present in tin =\frac{\text{Amount left}}{\text{Initial amount}}\times 100

Percentage of milk present in tin =\frac{23280}{24000}\times 100=97\%

Hence 97% of milk is present in tin
