Question : -

A tin can of juice is 2 by 3 filled. When 2 litres of juice is added, it becomes 3 by 4 filled. Whay is the capacity of tin can?

Answer : -

Let x be the the volume (capacity) of the can.

The juice can is filled => \frac{2}{3} of x

When 2 litres is added to the volume,

=>  \frac{2x}{3} + 2 = \frac{3x}{4}

=>  \frac{2}{3} + \frac{2}{1} = \frac{3x}{4}

=>  \frac{2x+6}{3} = \frac{3x}{4}

=> 2x + 6(4) = 3x  \times 3

=> 8x + 24 = 9x

=> 24 = 9x - 8x

=> 24 = x

=> Volume = 24 litres

Therefore, the volume of the tin can is 24 litres.

 \huge{ \boxed { \pink{volume = 24l}}}
