C. S. A of hemispherical dome=2pie r square

=2×3. 14×50×50

=15700 m2

Cost for 60m2=$4. 50

Cost for 1m2=4. 50/60=. 75 $

Cost for 15, 700 m2=. 75×15700

=11, 775$

Answer:

$1178

Step-by-step explanation:

Curved Surface Area of hemisphere = 2πr²
                                                             = 2π x 50²

                                                             = 15708

cost for 60 m2 = $4.50

cost for 1m2 = 4.50 / 60 = $0.075

cost for 15,708m2 = 0.075

                              = 0.075 x 15708

                              = $1178

This is the correct textbook answer.
