Let the composition of petrol and oil be '25x' and 'x'

Therefore,

whole compostion =25x+x=26x

now

26x=3.9L

x=3.9/26

x=39/260

x=3/20L

x=0.15L

Therefore, composition of oil is 0.15L

(You can also take out composition of petrol by multiplying result of 'x' by 25 ,i.e. the ratio of petrol , which will give you >>3.75 L.)
