A toffee cost rupees 6 and a packet of biscuit cost rupees 8.if Bishwant has rupees 50 and he has already bought two toffee,find the maximum number of biscuits that he can buy.

Answer:

toffee already bought is 2, which means Rs. 12 is already spent from the 50 rupees.

then, the remaining money= 50-12

=38

now, cost of one biscut =Rs.8

then,

therefore, the maximum number of biscuit he can buy is,

38/8

= 4.75

but a biscuit can be only bought as a whole.

so the max no. of biscuit he can buy is 4.
