A tomato sauce container is in the form of a cylinder ‘A’ , with radius

5 cm and height 20 cm . Its nozzle is a small cylinder ‘B’ , on the top of

the container ( A ) , radius of the nozzle is 0.5 cm and height 4 cm.

a. find the volume of sauce in the container when cylinder A is filled to

brim . ( the nozzle B is empty ) . [1]

b. when the container A is inverted , the sauce flows through the nozzle

at the rate of 2cm in 4 seconds . Find how many seconds would it

take to empty the container A . [1]

c. find the volume of sauce that flows through the nozzle per second . [1]

d. if the contents of the cylinder A were to be repacked into 10 ml sachets

find how many sachets would be formed , after repacking .​
