3. dentine decay- it is the tissue that lies under the enamel and it is softer than enamel it is more sensitive to acid and damaged more. dentine has a tube that connects to the nerves of the tooth and it is the more sensitive stage.
4. pulp damage- it is the innermost layer of the tooth. when this layer is damaged it turns into irritation and swells. leads to pain.
