a torch bulb has a resistance of 10ohm when cold. it draws a current of 0.2 A from a source of 2V and glows. calculate a) the resistance of the bulb when glowing and b) explain the reason for the difference in resistance.

here is the answer :-

a) restitance when cold = 10ohm
Current , I = 0.2A
potential differnce , V = 2V
Find:-
new resistance when the bulb glows , R = .????
=> According of ohms law:-
=> R = V/I.
=> R =2 /0.2
=> R = 10 ohm

b) the resistance of a appliance depends on some factors . one of the factors is is temperarure . here the difference between the restistance is due to the change of temperature
