Answer :

L1 = angular momentum 4 kgm 2 / s

L = final angular momentum = ?

= torque applied on wheel = 20 Nm

according to impulse - change in angular momentum equation

change in angular momentum equation

Torque x time interval = change in angular momentum

Using the equationt = ( L - L )

inserting the values in the above equation

inserting the values in the above equation20(4) = ( L2 - L1 )

80 = L2 - 2

L2 = 80 kgm 2 / s
