Given :

Torque (τ) = 4 N.m

Angular Acceleration (∝) = 2 rad/sec²

To Find :

The moment of inertia of the body

Solution :

We know, Torque (τ) = Inertia (I) × Angular Acceleration (∝)

Here, Torque (τ) = 4 N.m; Angular acceleration (∝) = 2 rad/sec²

∴ Torque (τ)      = I × ∝

⇒    4                 = I × 2

⇒    I                  = 2 Kg.m²

Therefore, the moment of inertia of the body is found to be 2 Kg.m²
