Answer:

Price of Chair = x = Rs 340

Price of table = x+75 = 340+75 = Rs 415

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost of the chair be x, the cost of the table is (x+75)

3x + 2(x+75) = 1850

3x + 2x + 150 = 1850

5x = 1850 - 150

5x = 1700

x = 340

Answer: x = 400 ,, y=325

Step-by-step explanation:

Let cost of table = x

Cost of chair = y

So

3x + 2y = 1850. Eq 1

ATQ

X= y+75

x- y = 75. Eq 2

multiply eq 2 by 2

(x-y = 75) ×2

2x-2y = 150. Eq 3

Adding eq 1& 3

3x+2y=1850

2x-2y = 150

5x = 2000

X = 400

Putting value of x in eq 2

400 -y = 75

-y = 75 -400

-y = -325

y = 325
