 {\underline {\boxed {\Large {\bf \gray { 105 \: People } }}}}

Clarification :

Here, we are given that total number of people who watched the movie are 300. And, 65 % of them liked the movie. We have to finf the number of people who didn't like the movie.

As per the given question, if 65 % liked the movie then rest didn't like the movie. So, 300 people will be considered as 100 % and 65 % liked the movie so 35 % of 300 didn't like the movie. We'll find the 35 % of 300 in order to find the number of people who didn't like the movie.

Explication of steps :

Method ⑴ ::

⪼ Total number of people who watched the movie= 300

⪼ % age of people who liked it = 65 %

If 65 % liked then remain people didn't like the movie. So,

→ % age of people who didn't like = ( 100 % - 65 % ) of 300

→ % age of people who didn't like = 35 % of 300

Now, converting percentage to fraction :

→ Number of people who didn't like the movie =  \sf {\Bigg \lgroup \dfrac{35}{ \cancel{100}} \times \cancel{300} \Bigg \rgroup }

→ Number of people who didn't like the movie =  \sf {35 \times 3 }

→ Number of people who didn't like the movie =  \sf {105 }

 \underline{\boxed{\sf{ People_{(Didn't\: like \: movie)} = 105 } }} \: \red{\bigstar}

Therefore, Number of people who didn't like the movie are 105.

Method ⑵ ::

⪼ Total number of people who watched the movie= 300

⪼ % age of people who liked it = 65 %

As per the question,

~ Number of people who didn't like = Total number of people Number of people who liked

→ Number of people who liked = 65 % of 300

→ Number of people who liked =  \sf {\Bigg \lgroup \dfrac{65}{ \cancel{100}} \times \cancel{300} \Bigg \rgroup }

→ Number of people who liked =  \sf {195 }

So,

Number of people who didn't like = Total number of people – Number of people who liked

→ Number of people who didn't like = 300 - 195

→ Number of people who didn't like = 105

 \underline{\boxed{\sf{ People_{(Didn't\: like \: movie)} = 105 } }} \: \red{\bigstar}

Therefore, Number of people who didn't like the movie are 105.
