Solve x:

The total value is Rs 80,000

500x + 100(200 - x) = 80000

500x + 100(200 - x) = 80000

500x + 20,000 - 100x = 80000

400x = 60000

x = 60000 ÷ 400

x = 150

Find the number of each prize:

Rs 500 prize = x = 150

Rs 100 prize = 200 - x = 200 - 150 = 50

Answer: There are 150 Rs 500 prize and 50 Rs 100 prize.
