Given that total number of persons = 200.

Given that prize is either 500 or 100 rupees.

Let the number of persons receiving 500 rupees be x.

Then the number of persons receiving 100 rupees be (200 - x).

Given that total worth of prizes = 50000.

500x + 100(200-x) = 50000

500x + 20000 - 100x = 50000

400x = 50000 - 20000

400x = 30000

x = 30000/400

x = 75.

Therefore The persons getting the prize of 500 rupees = 75.

                  The persons getting the prize of 100 rupees = (200 - 75) = 125.
