A Towel in the shape of isosceles trapezium whose parallel sides are 14cm and 12cm, the
distance between them is 6cm. Find the area of the Towel​

now here length of two parallel sides are given as 14 cm and 12 cm

so sum of those two parallel sides=12+14=26 cm

now distance between those parallel sides is nothing but it's height

so height (h)=6 cm

so we know that area of isoscles trapezium =half of sum of length of parallel sides×height

so area of towel being isoceles =half of 26×6

=1/2×156

=78 square.cm

hence area of towel is 78 square cm
