A tower stand vertically on the ground from a point on the ground and M away from the foot of the tower the angle of elevation of the top of the tower is 45 degree find the height of the tower

Let AB is the height of the tower.

Now in triangle ABC

tan 45° = AB/BC

=> 1 = AB/15   (BC =15 and tan 45° = 1)

=> AB = 15

So height of the tower = 15 m
