Let the original population be x

Increased population=x+1200

Now, decreased population=x+1200-11/100 of x+1200

                                              =x+1200-11x/100-132

                                              =x-11x/100+1200-132

                                              =100x-11x/100+1068

                                              =89x/100+1068

Also decreased population=x-32(Because it is 32 less than the original)

Therefore, as decreased population is also = 89x/100+1068

Equation=

89x/100+1068=x-32

89x/100-x=-1068-32

89x-100x/100=-1100

-11x/100=-1100

x=-1100*100/-11

x=100*100

Therefore, x=10000

The original population is 10000.

Thanks
