Let the original population be x
After an increase the population became x+1200
And then it again decreased to
x+1200-(x+1200)×11/100 Which is equal to x-32
100x-11x+120000+132=100x-3200
therefore, x=123332/11
=11212
Ans . The original population was 11212
Hope it works
