A toy is in a shape of a right circular cylinder with hemisphere on one end and a cone on the other end. The height and the radius of the cylindrical part are 13 cm and 5 cm respectively the radii of the hemispherical and conical parts are the and same as that of the cylindrical part calculate the surface area of the toy if the height of the conical part is 30 cm

  • Total height= 30cm
  • height of cylinder=13cm
  • height of cone=30-18 (radius of hemisphere=height)
  • therefore height of cone= 12cm

C.S.A. of hemisphere:

2*22/7*5^2

=157.14 cm^2

C.S.A. of cylinder:

2*22/7*5*13

=408.571 cm^2

C.S.A of cone :

22/7*5*13

=204.28

Adding all C.S.As we get

 408.57

 204.28

+157.14

=769.99m^2 [Ans. =Surface area of toy]
