A toy is in the form of a cone of radius 7cm mounted in a hemisphere of same radius. the total height of the toy is 31cm. fine the T.S.A of a toy.​

Radius of a cone= 7cm,

As the radius of cone and hemisphere are same

Therefore,

Radius of hemisphere =. 7cm

Total height of the toy=. 31cm

So the height of the cone is = 31cm-7cm

=24 cm

now,

 = slant \: height =   \sqrt{r \times r + h \times h}

 {l}^{2}  =  {7}^{2}  +   {24}^{2}  \\  =  {l}^{2}  = 49 + 576 \\   = {l}^{2}  = 625 \\  = l = 25cm

Total surface area of a toy,

  =   \frac{22}{</u><u>1</u><u>}  \times</u><u>1</u><u> (2 \times 7 + 25) \\  \frac{22}{</u><u>1</u><u>} (39) \\  =  </u><u>2</u><u>2</u><u>×</u><u>3</u><u>9</u><u> = </u><u>8</u><u>5</u><u>8</u><u>cm
