Answer:

volume of the toy = 474.84 cm^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given A toy is in form of a hemisphere surmounted on cylinder

Height of the cylinder h =  10 cm

radios of the cylinder r =  3.5 cm

radios of the cylinder will be the radios of the hemisphere

⇒ volume of the toy = volume of hemisphere + volume of cylinder

⇒ volume of the hemisphere  =  \frac{2}{3} \pi r^{3}

                                              =  \frac{2}{3} (\frac{22}{7} )( 3.5) (3.5)(3.5)

                                              = \frac{22}{3} (3.5)(3.5)

                                              = \frac{269.5}{3}

                                              = 89.84 cm^{3}

 ⇒ volume of the cylinder =  \pi r^{2}h

                                         = \frac{22}{7} (3.5)(3.5)(10)

                                         = 11(3.5)(10)

                                         = 385 cm^{3}

            ∴ total volume of the toy =   89.84 + 385

                                                       = 474.84 cm^{3}
