A toy is in the shape of a cone mounted on a hemisphere of same base radius. If the volume of the toy is 231cm^3 and its diameter is 7 cm, find the height of the toy.

Answer.- Given:-

Volume of toy:231cm^3
Diameter : 7cm
Volume of the cone: 1/3πr^h
=1/3×22/7×7/2×7/2×h=231
=h=231×3×7/22×2/7×2/7
=h=21×3×7/2×2/7×2/7
=h=3×3×2
=h=18cm.
