A toy is in the shape of a right circular cylinder with a hemisphere on one end and a cone on
the other. The radius and height of the cylindrical part are 5 cm and 13 cm respectively. The radii of hemispherical and conical parts qre the same as that of the cylinder part fund the surface area of the toy uf the hight of of the toy 30cm

Given ,
Radius of the toy =5 cm
Height of cylindrical part = 13 cm
Height of toy = 30 cm
Height of conical part = 12 cm
Slant height,l^2 = r^2 + h^2
l^2 = 25 + 144
l^2 = 169
l = 13 cm
Solution,
TSA of toy = CSA of cone + CSA of cylinder + CSA of hemisphere
TSA of toy = (pi*r*l) + (2*pi*r*h) + (2*pi*r*r)
= pi*r [(l) + (2*h) + (2*r)]
= (22/7)*5 [(13) + (2*13) + (2*5)]
= (22/7)*5 [13+26+10]
= (22/7)*5*49
= 22*5*7
= 110*7
= 770cm^2
