A toy is made in the shape of a cylinder with one hemisphere stuck to one end and a cone to the other end, as shown in the figure, the length of the cylindrical. part of the toy is 20cm and its diameter is 10em. If the slant height of the cone is 13cm. Find the surface area of the toy.

length of a cylinder= 20cm

d=10cm

r=5cm

slant height (l) of the cover= 13cm

surface area of the toy= lateral surface area of the cone+csa of the hemisphere + csa of the cylinder

= πrl + 2πr² + 2πrh

= πr(l+2r+2h)

= 22/7 × 5cm ×(13cm +2×5cm+ 2×20cm)

=110cm/7 × ( 13cm+10cm+40cm)

= 110cm/7 × (63cm)

= 110cm×9cm

= 990cm²
