question -

A toy manufacturing unit produces 20000 toys in a year. If the production is increasing at the rate of 8% p.a, then how many toys will be produced after 3 years?

solution -

Toys manufactured in each year = 20,000

Rate of production increasing p.a = 8%

Production after 3 years = 20,000 + ( 8 × 3 = 24 ) %

=> 20,000 / 24 × 100
=> 200 × 24
=> 4800

So the total production -

=> 20,000 + 4800
=> 24,800

Hence, after 3 years 24,800 toys will be manufactured.

#hope it helps..!!
