Manufacturer's price for the action figure =$8.00

Percentage of increase in the action figure's price =110%

The price of one of the action figures in the store :-

= 8+110\% \:  \:  of \:  \:  \:  8

 = 8 +  \frac{110}{100}  \times 8

 = 8 +  \frac{110 \times 8}{100}

 = 8 +  \frac{880}{100}

 = 8 + 8.80

 = 8 + 8.8

 =$  16.8

Thus, the selling price of the action figure =$16.8

Therefore, cost of one of the action figures in the store =$16.8
