a toy X can run with a speed of 8 m/s against the frictional force of 10 N and another toy Y can move with the speed of 3m/s against the frictional force of 20N find the ratio of power of X and Y​

The ratio of powers of toy X and toy Y

Solution,

We know,

Power = Force × Velocity

Using the above formula we can find powers for toys X and Y.

Toy X,

Power= 10 × 8 = 80 W

Toy Y,

Power= 20 × 3 = 60 W

Hence, the ratio of power of X and Y is 80:60, which is equal to 4:3.
