Answer:

Given Information,

  • Distance Covered = 300 m
  • Time Taken = 15 seconds
  • Acceleration = Uniform (a)
  • Final Velocity = (v)

To Find,

  • Acceleration (a)
  • Final Velocity (v)

Solution,

Using second equation of motion we get:

⇒ s = ut + 0.5 at²

⇒ 300 = 0 ( 15 ) + 0.5 ( a ) ( 15 )²

⇒ 300 = 0 + 112.5 (a)

⇒ a = 300 / 112.5

⇒ a = 2.67 m/s²

Hence the acceleration of the tractor is 2.67 m/s².

Calculating the Final velocity using first equation of motion we get,

⇒ v = u + at

⇒ v = 0 + (2.67) (15)

⇒ v = 40.05 m/s

Hence the final velocity of the tractor is 40.05 m/s.
