Step-by-step explanation:

Here the question is that if 15% of a number has a value of 60 then what is that number that is we have to find 100%

Let the number be x

If 15 ———> 60

Then

100———> x

=> 15/100=60/x

=> x=400

A very easy way to find percentages is suppose if we take a number eg 50 and want 10% decrease one decimal i.e 5.0 and for 1% we should decrease 2 decimals i.e 0.5 and so on.If we if need to find 12% we can do it by just adding 10% and 2% i.e

12%=10%+2%=(5.0+2 (0.5))=6

In this way we find percentage of many number easily
