A trader mixes 36 kg of rice at Rs 35 per kg with 24 kg at Rs 31 per kg . At what price per kg must he sell the mixture so as to gain Rs 66 on his outlay ?​

                                              = RS1260

24 kg at RS31 per kilogram = 31*24

                                             = RS744

total amount = RS1260 + RS744

                     = RS20004

total mass of the mixture = 24 + 36

                                          =60kg

To get RS66 profit hence he/she would be = \frac{total amount + profit}{total mass of the mixture}

                                                                        = \frac{2004 + 66}{60}

                                                                        = \frac{2070}{60}

                                                                         =34.5

therefore he/she must sell the mixture at RS34.50 per kg
