Answer:

₹1188 rate of sp of each of remaining 60 bags.

Step-by-step explanation:

He paid ₹1100*200=220000

for 200 bags

he sold 80 bags for ₹1100*1.25

=₹1375 per bag

income on 80 bags=₹1375*80

=₹1,10,000

and 60 bags at 92% of cp or

1100*0.92=1012

income on 60 bags=₹1012*60

=₹60,720

so on 140 bags he earned

110000+60720

=₹1,70,720

He has to sell 200 bags for a total of 220000+10%

or 220000+22000

=242000

Out of this he has already earned 170720

He still has to earn

242000-170720

=71,280 on selling remaining 60 bags

so rate per bag of 60 bags

=71280/60

=1188....ANSWER

Concept

Profit = Selling price - cost price

Given

A trader purchased 200 bags of pulses at Rs 1100 per bag and he sold 80 bags at 25 percent profit and 60 bags at 8 percent loss.

Find

we need to find the

Solution

We have

Cost price = 1100 * 200 = 220000 rupees

Next he sold 80 bags at 25% profit

Thus, the selling price of 80 bags will be 1100 * 80 * 1.25 = 110000

Selling price of another 60 bags will be

1100 * 60 * 0.92 = 60720

So the total selling price of 140 bags becomes

110000 + 60720 = 1,70,720

Now, he has to sell total 200 bags at 10% profit

Thus, selling price should be 220000* 1.1 = 242000

Out of this he has already earned 170720, he has to earn more-

242000 - 1,70,720 = 71,280

Thus, he has to earn 71,280 on 60 bags.

Therefore, the selling price of these 60 bags will be

71280/60 =1188

Thus, he needs to sell the remaining 60 bags at the rate of rupees 1188 per bag.
